Pic #1 I would make that an alternative album cover for the band "Portugal. The Man" because their meanings embedded in their songs are often unclear, and can be interpreted differently. This picture is blurry like their songs.
Pic #2 This could be an alternative album cover for the band "Phish" because the picture shows the vastness of the land, Phish is a vast band with many different genres written in their roots.
Pic #3 This could be an alternative album cover for "Pink Floyd". The picture shows a pretty scene that is scarred by graffiti, which adds darkness to the feel of the image. Pink Floyd is a band that is dark, they will tackle the controversial issues discussed in society in their song lyrics and meanings.
Pic #4 This could be an alternative album cover for "The Head and the Heart". The picture takes place in winter, where people are more solemn and not as bright and happy as they were in the summer. The Head and the Heart are a band that aren't very joyful, but still produce good music with deep meaning.
Pic #5 This could be an alternative album cover for "The Grateful Dead". The Dead are a band that will often sing about life when they grew up and write about characters in their songs. This picture seems simple and peaceful to me, the Grateful dead are also known for their mellowness. I think this picture would suit the band well.
