about this story
"You are not supposed to go there". "You are not allowed". They tell me this every time I attempt to step near this place. Every time I go toward you, try to touch your soul, you say no. I look at the blue skies. I ask the heavens why am I alone on this journey; however, I will not let this deter me. I will stop to smell the roses. I will enjoy sunflowers and pink daisies. There will come a time when a 6:30 meal will matter again. There will be a reason to go where I am always wanted. Where I am allowed. Home is where I can reflect upon my memories while staring out the window. Remember a time when I was not allowed to trespass beyond your fence.
