Five Card Story: Hyperbole

about this story
In a little, abandoned town, an eight year old girl by the name of Hannah was going on what she called an "adventure". She gazed at the billions of clouds in the sky and ran down the brick pathway that led to old, gothic buildings. She stood in the endless sea of leaves as she looked up at the big pillars of the building. The wind was blowing ferociously, and her hair went a million different ways. She raised her hands to her head to comb out her hair as she turned and ran back down the steps and onto the empty sidewalk. There was a lone bike still leaned up against a bike rack. She looked around herself with question, and in silence hopped on the bike with a huge smile and rode it down the street, ringing the little pink bell attached to it. Grinning from ear to ear, she pushed her blond pieces of hair back behind her ear and rode off towards her house, being sure to take photos of the sky and the buildings to document her adventure on her way back home.
