about this story

Blowing bubbles put me in a good mood, the sun refracting colors and making the park magical. Returning home on Main Street, the sun illuminating the church, and early buds glowed on trees. I found a thumb-piano, real wood, golden and inviting, and played it as I walked. At the river, a labrador was drinking, silhouetted in the early morning light. It made me remember the chickadee I'd seen in the same spot in the winter, singing in the snow. What a world!
