Long shadows fell across the weathered walkway to the house. Gentle frog-song began to echo and repeat, seeming to come from everywhere and nowhere. He could smell the earthy alfalfa and clover from the fields next door and so he began. Laughing, he tripped along the path and through tall green plants, plants as tall as he was. No frogs yet, but he wasn't one to give up. He was an explorer.
