about this story

I thought life was perfect, I had gotten everything I ever wanted. The newest iPhone 10, my own room, etc. But a couple of days ago the one thing I took for granted was the one thing I wanted to keep the most. I would have given all my expensive items to have this one thing, my life. it all started two weeks ago, I was on my way to soccer practice and I had just happened to pass the TV and the world news was on. Apparently, there were strange fumes being released into the air by plants and animals. This air borne chemical was poisoning only humans and rapidly they were dropping like flies. This was occurring on the other side of the world so I wasn't worried. I left and went about my business not caring since it wasn't happening to me, right? I returned home and not even 3 hours later my parents had our house air tight, on lock down. All of the house plants had been thrown away and of course my parents as rich as we were we had all the resources to stay alive. Or at least that’s what I thought.
