I was looking at the sky through the skylight in my bedroom. I thought I smelled something cooking so I checked the stove. I was confused. I turned around to go back to my room and then I saw it. There was a fire! I ran for the phone but it was behind the fire. Luckily, one of the neighbors saw the flame and dialed 911. The firefighters were too late. I was already engulfed in flames. I was confused because I could not feel any pain, so I looked around and saw my body slowly disintegrating. I saw everything. I was a ghost. The only thing that survived was a lamp. The house is now a memorial and a historical location for travelers to visit because the fire was unexpected and unexplained.
