My Uncle Larry is a phenomenal tuba player in New Orleans. I once got to visit him. He took me around the city to all of his favorite places. He took me to his favorite flower shop that specializes in fresh flowers. He loved to smell all the flowers. I picked out some beautiful magnolia flowers to take with me because those are the Louisiana state flower. He could tell how much I loved the flowers so took me to a beautiful garden. We spent some time there to take it all in. After, he took me to his favorite place to play his tuba on Saturday nights. This was a beautiful stucco building with a crazy dog on the roof! His name was Bart and he was the mascot of the place. When we left there, he ended the tour by taking me on a walk through an amazing park that had a waterfall. I couldn't believe how much greenery was there, especially in a city! I really enjoyed that visit with my Uncle Larry and I hope to do it again some day soon.
