For Shelby, it would be a regular day at school, but to her surprise it would not. After school Shelby went to hang with her friends on the playground, as she usually does. An hour passed and it was time for her to go home. Shelby passed a strange white car and then she heard the windows roll down. A skinny white man yelled out "Hey, I'm here to pick you up, your mom couldn't make it today." Shelby was suspicious and she asked who he was. He replied," a close friend of your moms." She knew this was strange so she asked what her mom's name was and when he could not answer she became terrified. She quickly turned away from the car and started running home. The man cursed and started his car; he abruptly pulled out of his parking spot to speed up to Shelby. He opened his car door and pulled Shelby inside. She started screaming and kicking, so the man covered her mouth and nose. Soon, she could no longer breathe. The man had killed her.
The day became night and Shelby's mother was a wreck, she has called the police department but they could not do anything, as it had not been 24 hours since Shelby's disappearance. A few days later her mother received a call claiming they had found Shelby's body is an abandoned market a couple blocks from the school.
