Pete and Roberto dreamed of getting away from the concrete jungle in which they were trapped. They weren't just trapped in the city but stuck in a construction job they had no hope of leaving. Roberto's daily task was to hold a "Danger" sign. Pete was assigned the job of supervising Roberto and commenting randomly on weather. Both Pete and Roberto shared a dream. They had hoped to sail a fishing boat into nearby Botany Bay in search of the elusive Botany Bay horseshoe crab and the purple dusk lilly. Why they held this dream, no one is quite sure. What is certain is that the love Roberto and Pete have for exploration and discovery is unrivaled. Next time you pass construction workers aimlessly idle, think of Pete and Roberto. Ache for them and others like them but be buoyed by the hope their passion for exploration and discovery gives to all human kind.
