about this story

I don't remember when or how the seed was planted, but it must have germinated well. In my journey I have consumed pallets of lined paper, most of which is biodegrading in a landfill by now; yet every assignment and each sheet of paper marks a branching pattern of my journey. I take refuge in knowing that in the hardest time, I was never alone, and in the valleys of every season that has gotten me to where I am today, evil did not prevail. Like a salmon, I often feel as if I am swimming upstream, fighting against a natural rampage that fatigues my soul. The droplets of water are a reminder that I am not alone; every storm sprouts more life. And soon, after many long years of anticipation, I will hatch from this cocoon and continue my journey.
