A misty day in New York with overcast. I awake to a seemingly peaceful day. Most often I just stay home but I make a goal to go outside. When I do feel I need to leave my comfortable home I make my way to the local bakery. To be specific Ms. Moodie's Bakery on 95th street. She runs a very small and hidden business. Most of us anti-social creatures find comfort there. We all find desire or seemly love for books. With this goal in mind I dress and pack my bag. Earbuds in I race down the street. The bakery has a fiery red door and black iron fencing. The door gives an eerie creak. I march inside and zoom to the till but I see a unfamiliar man gazing at me. He is seated at the chess table where I dare not go. After I finish my order I shuffle to the round table in the hidden corner behind the bookshelf. He creeped over and made himself a spot beside me. In a effort to hide, I shove my book in front of my face. We make silent peace. My food arrives within 6 minutes and with its almost silent placement on the table. He spoke only one question "Who are you?"
