Music. Music education is so so important in schools. Some schools want to cut music programs out of schools because of "budget issues". That is completely nuts. Everyone has to learn music somewhere. If less people learned to sing and play instruments, then there will be less artists in the world. Imagine that! What would it be like to drive down the road and have nothing good to listen to. Besides, earning different instruments like the piano or trombone, etc make people much more creative overall in life which is so important. In fact, it supports higher-order thinking. According to Blooms Taxonomy, being able to produce music falls under the most complex type of thinking, which is the create category. This is why, music education should remain in all schools.
