When I woke up early one summer morning, it suddenly dawned on me that I had yet to explore the city I had just moved into a week earlier. New York City has lived up to even my wildest expectations, as everyone is always bustling to do something at every hour. After my realization, I quickly got ready and rang the doorbell of my neighbor, Mrs. Brown. Mrs. Brown had 2 young girls, aged 8 and 10. She had offered me $10 an hour to watch her daughters for the day and I gratefully accepted as I am in drastic need of income. I greeted the girls and then we went to the park to play on the swings. After they got tired of swinging and going down the slides, we went over to the fountain to make a wish. Next, we walked through the park to get to the best spot in New York according to the girls. After eating at Jimmy's Breakfast Sandwiches, I can confidently say that it has the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. The perfect blend of the fried egg with the crispiness of bacon in between 2 pieces of whole wheat bread. The flavors exploded in my mouth and filled me up for the whole day. Next, we went to the old cathedral to look at the art before going back to the apartment.
