Five Card Story: The Lonely Man and his Stories

Once there was a man. A lonely man. One day, when he went for a walk around his neighborhood, he stumbled upon a garden of vines. Somehow, the got a spark of inspiration for a possible story. As he rushed home to write this idea down, he passed a custom shoe store and saw a pair of beautiful blue shoes. He stopped to admire them, then remembered why he was rushing home.
When got home, the man pulled out a notebook to write down this story idea. He grabbed an apple, because, well, brain food. He took a bite and set the apple down on the table to write. After a while, the glorious shoes he saw in the window of that shop are still in his mind. They were so beautiful, it would be a waste to not utilize them somehow. He looks up again in wonder of what he could do. He then sees his bitten apple, still on the table. His face lights up when another wonderful idea comes to his mind.
Three years later, the man is sitting at a fancy award ceremony, nominated for his fantastic children's fairy tales, Awakening Beauty, Sand White, and Ella of the Ashes. He wins many awards for his stories, and in the while, obtains many riches. The man decided to move out of his home into the woods to live by himself, to continue his preferably lonely life.
