Five Card Story: The River.

I had just woken up from my five hour nap. My stomach had rumbled with so much anger that it jolted me out of my dream. I got out of the lumpy couch, which I called my bed and went to make some good old fashion toast. After I was done eating, I decided to go to a psychic shop that had recently opened. The psychic shop had opened only half a mile away from my home, so I decided to walk there. While I was on my way, I noticed a river that I never knew was there. The river was not clean what so ever, the river was extremely murky brown. Suddenly, the stench from the river came flying at me. The stench was so horrendous that I almost passed out on the spot. The fumes must have been messing with my brain because the next thing I knew, I had seen fireworks up in the sky. A bright blue, red, and white ball blasted into the sky. I had not heard a single sound, so I knew that the firework was all in my mind. I continued to walk along the river and as I got closer to the shop, the water became more clear and stunk less. I was about 100 meters away from the shop, when I saw a lone small toy boat sailing along the river.
