about this story

As I stepped outside onto the porch of my cozy home, I could see the sun peeking through the leaves of the old, oak tree. I started my walk into town, and studied the sights and smells of all the buildings around me, noticing the gas station sign flicker on. I passed a familiar sign, reading, "Petunia's Petunias", smelling the wonderful scent, and enjoying the vibrant colors the flower bore. I continued my walk until I reached the long, sturdy bridge at the edge of town, and saw many people coming and going across it. I traveled back to my cozy, humble home, and noticed a little eight-legged friend on my arm, and smiled. He, too, had been able to enjoy a beautiful morning.
