As John Locke once said a person is born a blank slate it is first influenced by its family members to confirm their ideal, next is their environment to fit in with the so-called social norms, next is their group of friends who have the same idealism as yourself, and the most important influencer in life is your significant other which you will spend years or months to change your personality to fit with them, and then finally the final influencer age as you grow more elderly you acquire experience that builds your character into what or who you want to be.
