about this story
My name is Clyde. I'm a dog, and I live in that 2 story white house. It's just down the street from my favorite place, the Cary Street Mini-Mart. Whenever I go to the mini-mart, Sam gives me snacks. He's the owner and always saves me part of his sandwich for lunch. I know it's lunchtime when the church bell sings its song. That's when I trot down the street past the church to Sams's. After lunch, I go home and take a nap and wait for Millie, my human, to come home. She drives a red car. When I see her coming down the street I run to the door to greet her. Millie takes me for an afternoon walk past Sam's, where we stop for more snacks. She doesn't know I've already been there, and Sam doesn't tell her either. Dog life is good.
