about this story
Some people take this statement as shutting people up, building a wall between the people to protect themselves. Like they really into the " trust no one, but yourself you are alone in this life " I understand their sentiments because who wouldn't? when the people you trust or the people who always by your side, suddenly like they don't know you, belong even. Nothing is permanent, nothing in this life is guaranteed. There will always be someone who lets you down, shatter you into pieces. People may come and go throughout life, so all we have to do is to be ourselves, be the best version of ourselves. Don't expect someone because if you expect, you might face disappointment.
