Patricia Smith Churchland was born on July 16, 1943 in British, Columbia. She's a Canadian-American analytic philosopher noted for her contributions to neuro philosophy and the philosophy of mind.
Her dreams as a child is as high as the towers she see in the city. Her parents were lacked in education, so they did their best to send Patricia to a university to study college.
Patricia believed that life is like a blank paper. You have to write your own journey there, and make a beautiful story worth reading of.
She started studying the brains circuity when she entered the university. She came up with the idea of "Brain is not magical, it's a casual machine". For her, the brain is like a machine that control people's choices in life.
She wrote a book for it entitled " NEUROPHILOSOPHY - Toward a Unified Science of the Mind Brain". Her work bloomed like flowers since people recognized her work as part of science and considered her as a great philosopher.
Patricia also became the UC President's Proffesor of Philosophy Ermita at the University of California, San Diego where she taught since 1984. This university opened their windows for her to explore more in the world of science.
