about this story

"All mankind... being all equal and independent, no one ought to harm another in his life, health, liberty or possessions."

"Our incomes are like shoes if too small, they gall and pinch us but if too large, they cause us to stumble and to trip."

"What worries you, masters you."

"Reading furnishes the mind only with materials of knowledge; it is thinking that makes what we read ours."

"To love our neighbor as ourselves is such a truth for regulating human society, that by that alone one might determine all the cases in social morality."

"Where there is no property there is no injustice."

-John Locke

"Genius is the ability to independently arrive at and understand concept that would normally have to be taught by other person."

"All our knowledge Begins with the senses, proceeds then to the understanding and ends with reason there is nothing higher than reason."

"Thaughts wothout content are empty intuitions without Concept are blind."

"Do the right thing because it is right."

"Rules for happiness: something to do, someone to love, something to hope for."

"Morality is not properly the doctrine of how we may make ourselves happy, but how we may make ourselves worthy of happiness."

-Immanuel Kant

Therefore, we conclude that Kant and Locke's philosophy had been widely influenced by someone's life. It had a huge impact because a person can change someone's life even in a short moment. Just like how Kant and Locke's life has been influenced by certain events that eventually led them to be a great person. Their philosophy has had a profound effect on people who want to change to be a better person. Also, their philosophy can help people to understand their self and had a self-concious to itself that may speaks of personal identity and survival of consciousness.
