It was a gloomy evening. I was sitting on a bench near a pond, when out of nowhere I heard a splash. First I thought, Maybe there is a little kid throwing rocks in the water. Maybe the kid is trying to skip the rocks or even jumping in. I looked around and saw nothing. It was strange. There wasn't a soul near me. Then a bush started shaking. I walk up to it and saw an adult. "Are you okay"? I whispered. The adult responded, "Yeah, I'm fine". Then he ran off. Walking back over the the bench a dog swam up to the shore. He was scared and I realize He had no legs. The stranger did this to him. I decided to bring him to my apartment and gave him a bath.
