about this story

One Monday morning I woke up lying on the damp ground, surrounded by a foggy mist in an ancient and overgrown forgotten cemetery. My head felt fuzzy and confused. I began trudging through dense vines and weeds, my feet moving sluggishly as if through water, stumbling over overturned tombstones, searching for a path. The only other creature I saw was a brown squirrel suspiciously eyeing me from a tree. After blundering about and going in circles for what seemed an eternity, eventually I found a rusty iron gate. Outside the gate sat an old abandoned service station with an incongruously new and shiny snack machine next to it. I rattled the change button on the machine and several chocolate bars suddenly came spitting out. As the sweet, slightly bitter chocolate melted on my tongue, I felt immediately refreshed and some of the fog lifted from my mind. Putting the rest of the chocolate bars in my pocket, I walked on until I came to a farm. Several brown and white cows stood studiously watching me as they slowly chewed their cuds. One of them spoke to me and asked me what I had in my pocket. I shared the chocolate bar with the cow. The cow then informed me that it would grant me a wish. I answered that I was lost and wanted to get home. "That's easy," said the cow. "Look over the horizon and you will see a ship that will take you home." I saw something tall in the distance and realized it was the mast of a ship. Thanking the cow, I walked to the ship and got onboard. The name of the ship was "The Ship of Dreams." Next thing I knew, I awoke in my bed.
