about this story
I chose picture one depicting a boy with a net over his head portraying my being adventurous. Like the boy in the picture, I long to be accepted for my mistakes and my shortcomings. My parents and my mentors need to be patient with me, as I am learning from my mistakes.
The second picture shows a woman deep in thought overlooking a lake. I am that woman because I am usually a quiet person. I tend to observe people, things, and happenings more. I keep to myself and do not talk unless I am comfortable with the person. I am a deep thinker and usually finds consolation when I am alone with nature.
The third picture shows a road. I think life is a journey, like the road. It has a beginning and an end. As I travel through the road of life, I widen my perspective, I learn about the world I am part of, and I strive to become the person I am made to be by my God.
The fourth picture is of three children exploring nature and the rocky formation. Like these children, I like exploring new places with my friends. I enjoy the company of my friends especially when we go up the mountains in my hometown, Leyte.
The fifth picture shows a sign that reads Success. I feel that all my sacrifices and hard work lead to success. Every failure and triumph are part of my journey in achieving success eventually.
