about this story

Out on a walk I discovered a blue door. The rule follower I am NOT decided to explore. There was a garden draped in purple flowers and butterflies galore. A woman sat still filled with anticipation as she watched the door. I said "hello" and she kindly looked away. She was on her own journey without much to say. The hollow halls echoed and were cold to the touch. I searched for an exit because the silence became to much. I saw a sign announcing closure from dusk to dawn, it was now 7:00. There was not a person in sight. The quiet woman was gone and it was almost night. The air was still and I was lost, not a an exit in sight. Then I found another door with a hint of light.
