about this story

During the day I was walking through the city of New York. It smelled like cigarette smoke and the air was not even close to fresh. Although, It was going into a sun set. I needed to call my friend to come pick me up because I was lost. The sun was slowly going down so the world started to get dark. I just came back from a party. I was dizzy and the world seemed to be spinning around me from all of the loud music and the dancing, and the crowds. There was a band behind me playing the soothingest of music. I dialed my friend's number. The phone rang. She did not answer. I turned around and the music was gone. There was a garden. It was full of the prettiest of flowers. Roses, lilacs, daisies. It was like I was dreaming. I found a little pond. I sat down by it. All of a sudden I heard a tiny voice. “Hey, look down.” I looked down and there was a really small frog sitting on a lillypad. “Pick me up.” So I picked up the tiny frog. “Where am I?” I asked. The frog told me not to ask and question and follow their instructions. The frog started by telling me to go straight. “Where are you taking me?” The frog said, “We will never know what is ahead unless we go there.” I nodded but was still confused. “Isn't the silence nice?!” “Yeah,” I said but the silence was odd. Besides, I was from New York. Wait… New York. The frog turned and said, “I gave you the time you needed.” I closed my eyes and opened them. I was back at the telephone. I walked away and saw a firetruck. It’s sirens were screaming. People were talking, lights were lighting up the sky. So I called a taxi and went home.
