One day a boy named Nick was told they were going to the family lake house so he was obviously super excited, but he had his friends birthday party the day they were leaving so he had to miss it. He was so mad and told his parents he wasn going, they obviously said no and said he had to go. He was mad but at least they were still going somewhere fun. He packed his stuff up and they left. His whole car ride was miserable because he was just thinking how fun the party would have been. They finally got there after the four hour drive but he wasn't too mad because he loved the lake. When he got there a bunch of his other family was there and the house was packed. They had a great dinner then he went straight to bed knowing he would get to swim in the lake in the morning, but because the house was so packed he was told he would have to share a bed with his cousin. He wasn't happy but he was just going to bed so it would be fine but the entire night she was up screaming about how uncomfortable the bed was so Nick couldn't sleep and he was just imagining how nice and fun the party would have been. Finally he woke up in the morning and his cousin was asleep. He went to the kitchen and breakfast was already made, and it was pancakes so he ate right away and got ready to go to the lake. They went down to the lake and he was having so much fun but then three of his cousins came up to him and asked if he wanted to go explore a little pond they found but he said no because he had never been around there but they told him not to be boring and he gave in. They walked to the pond and he saw it and told them it wasn't a good idea to go down to it but they insisted on it. They got down to it then he heard one of his cousins scream and he looked over and there was a giant snake. He told all of them that they should leave but of course they wanted to pick it up he told them that was dumb but of course they tried. One went in to grab the tail and grabbed it then one tried to get the head and it whipped its head around and bit her she started screaming and immediately Nick knew they needed to get back they ran back and found out it was poisonous and had to take her to the hospital they drove to one and when they got there they easily removed the venom but all the families were furious and Nicks family never planned on taking the rest of the family back again. The End
