about this story

Traveling has always been one of my favorite things. I’ve always traveled alone though because I never found anyone I really wanted to go with. I was also used to going on a plane. This time it was with my friend and we were going to take a roadtrip. The only time I had been on a road trip was when I was little with my parents. I couldn’t wait to drive to my favorite place with my best friend, Savannah. We started out in my hometown Cosnino, Arizona. We got all packed up and finished getting ready for our trip. We were ready to start going through the Coconino National Forest. Even though the forest was not the most fun to go through, I saw the prettiest flowers spread around. I also saw a bunch of different colored flowers spread around. It made going through the forest a lot more fun because we were pointing out so many different ones. We were doing this road trip to go see my favorite place, Dan’s Diner. It has always been my favorite place to eat with my family. Now I get to show it to Savannah who had never been through that part of Arizona. When we got there, it was just like how it was the last time I saw it. Almost everything was the same. After going there we spent a few days in the town, walking around showing Savannah everything. She loved seeing the town as much as I did. It was one of my favorite trips I had taken. Driving through the forest and seeing places I hadn’t seen in a while was so much more fun than I thought it would be. For my first road trip, it was one of my favorite trips. I couldn’t wait for even more road trips. Especially with Savannah.
