According to Plato, numbers can exist in an abstract heaven. Nominalists, on the other hand, claim that there's no such heaven. Plato believes that one should study the various mathematical disciplines, such as astronomy, math, and solid geometry. After mastering mathematics, one can begin studying philosophy. Plato talks about the various ideas he has learned in order to explain them. In Plato, philosophy and mathematics are connected to each other because in his academy taught mathematics as a branch of philosophy.
