One of the Latin Fathers of the Church and perhaps the most significant Christian thinker after St. Paul.
His philosophy, "May I know you [God], May I know myself.“ driven by his allegiance to a particular form of Christianity.
If green leaves depicts hopes, dried/dead means decay. It just mean one thing, He maybe gone but up to this day his contribution is still here. We may not get to know him personally but it was discussed/tackled.
