about this story

It was a beautiful day in springtime. I had my clubs on my cart and was ready to hit some bombs. My friends met me on the first tee (they were late, of course.) We were all playing well until Caroline hit her ball into the trees and into the mud. She got her brand new white dress full of mud getting out of that mess. Later on, she redeemed herself by saving a pretty turtle. She moved it off of the dangerous cartpath and near a pond. After the round, the four of us sat in the clubhouse, eating pastries and listening to the pianist play the piano. Caroline didn't even care that her dress was full of mud and looked like a hot mess. It was a good day on the links.
