1. The Cork
Once sealed in glass, holding stories untold,
A memory of laughter, of nights grown old.
Now resting on porcelain, stained and worn,
A whisper of past joys, a future forlorn.
2. The Hallway
Echoes of footsteps, silence and light,
A tunnel of memories, morning to night.
Lockers hold secrets, walls hear the cries,
Dreams take their shape, then bid their goodbyes.
3. The Bottle
Empty and lost in the forest deep,
A relic of moments, a past to keep.
Once filled with warmth, now cold in the dirt,
A vessel abandoned, left to convert.
4. The Path
At the fork in the woods, the air stands still,
A choice to be made, a fate to fulfill.
A lone traveler waits, paws on the ground,
Eyes full of wonder, the world all around.
