Ready to Roll – The Game of Life
One thing I love about yoga is that at the end of each session, we do a pose called Happy Baby.
When I think about my personal journey in life, I realize I was always ready to roll. I thought I knew where I was going. I thought I was on the right set of tracks—and I was excited about the journey.
But then life happened. Things got twisted, confusing, and stressful.
During those times, I’d often reflect back to the beginning. We’re all born in that yoga pose—Happy Baby. No stress. No worries. Just happy.
That’s the game of life.
You have to be ready to roll, yes—but there are also moments when you need to pause. Sit on the couch. Reflect. Rest.
With your family. With your friends.
Or maybe even with man’s best friend.
Eventually, it’ll be time to move again—to take another exit.
Who knows where that next exit might lead?
But to take it, you need vision. You have to be able to focus. To see the forest.
Because sometimes, as they say, you can’t see the forest for the trees.
That’s why I call this:
Ready to Roll – The Game of Life
