The journey passed the stop sign asks me to look back in reflection and enjoy the hidden treasures left behind. The storefront gives me a sense of adventure in a city landscape (I grew up in the dessert without many buildings around!). Next, our loved family pets who have come and gone are really still with us. I have a skeleton cat still out in our home from halloween as a reminder of them. Finally, the journey takes me over the skies and over adversity mountains to land in the VCU program. One step at a time, I recognize that I am well on my way and supported through each step.
