about this story

Introduction (Pic 1): Kids are our future. We hear that all the time. What does that really mean? Are we concerned for their future or their contribution to society? Kids are being raised to be cookie cutter versions of themselves and should be allowed to be children. This is why kids belong outside.

(Pic 2): Vitamin D absorbed from being outside helps children in many different ways. It fosters bone development, healthier immune system, promoting healthy sleep and improves mood regulation.

(Pic 3): It also fosters healthy development of our executive function. This promotes creativity, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities.

Counterargument (Pic 4): Some people would say that it is more important for kids' development and attend school. However, school can force children into obedience and memorization over critically thinking.

Conclusion (Pic 5): In conclusion, at the end of our lives the degrees that we had and all of our material successes get filed away and forgotten. It is more important to teach our children to connect with themselves and experience life over material success. This is how they will find true happiness.
