Introduction (Pic 1) - The world is changing every day, and it is becoming more reliant on technology to carry out daily tasks, facilitate learning, acquire information, and connect with people. Who really benefits?
(Pic) 2 - With the emergence of technology, books and other forms of paper knowledge are becoming obsolete. Universities are forcing students to adapt to technology, students are resorting to taking notes on their devices, and physical textbook sales are at an all-time low.
(Pic 3) - Research says that note-taking via handwriting increases your likelihood of retaining the information that you are learning.
Counterargument (Pic 4) - Some argue that technology is a necessary innovation because it streamlines grading systems, allows mass communication, quicker distribution of materials, and the ability to present information faster.
Conclusion (Pic 5) - I object to this argument. While I agree that technology makes life easier in some respects, I feel that learning via handwritten notes, physical textbooks, and paper exams increases our likelihood of retaining knowledge. Further, technology is expensive and often cumbersome to learn how to use. We should stop relying on technology and return to traditional forms of learning.
