It's a cold, dark, and dreary winter day. I sit silently, dreaming of the bloom of Spring, craving human connection again. Cooped inside, I miss the days of riding my bike, waving and yelling, "Hey" as I travel our small-town's streets and see my neighbors. Until then, I sit peacefully, like that of a small boat on the most quiet of lakes, awaiting life again.
