Five Card Story: Butt Splicing Shenanigens

The Martin family did not realize how dependent the neighborhood squirrel has been on them. While they vacationed in Arizona, the squirrel sought out sources of food other than the table scraps he was accustomed to getting.
If the squirrel couldn't find any food, he certainly was going to stir up mischief. First, he gnawed his way into the basement, where Mr. Martin's office is located. Next to the computer was a butt splicer.
The family cat is going to take one for the team. That's right. Fluffy's butt was going to be spliced. The squirrel decided the family cat could be held responsible for his hunger.
The child who once had fun playing with the squirrel had no idea what trouble was taking place back home. He slid down the slide, happy as a clam.
The Grand Canyon was quiet, and so was the Martin family house, now sporting one less pet.
