Five Card Story: Ending one adventure and starting another!

about this story
I had spent 4 months studying abroad and was ready to get off the ferry and be home! This short trip across the river was the last thing keeping me from my friends and family. I visited my neice and nephew as soon as I got unpacked. They had so much to tell me about their school years and about the county fair that had started earlier in the week. They only had to ask and we were off, riding the ferris wheel and eating fried everything! That evening I met up with friends and they wanted to go back to the fair at night. I gladly tagged along...eating more fried food (its not as bad for you at night)! The next morning I met my grandparents for breakfast at the Main Street Diner and had a Pepsi with ICE (something I had missed terribly while in Europe) and savored the cool, fizzy liquid as it rushed down my throat. After breakfast, grandma did what she does best and spoiled me with a bit of a shopping trip to Target and Kohl's. It's good to be home!
