about this story

Early one morning as I was killing time at the Lincoln Memorial, sitting at the feet of Abe, I felt a nudge from behind. It was Abe. He was tired of sitting at his memorial and said lets go for a walk. I had nothing to do, so I said sure. As we walked we saw a patch of sunflowers in their later stages of life. I told Abe that the sunflower is my states flower. He said ah, Kansas. We kept on walking, after a while we came to a house. There was a fat cat lying on the sidewalk. Abe said that is my cat, his name is Mr. Booth. Abe said I really do not like that cat. He brings back bad memories of my past. Abe invited me into the house, but the lights would not turn-on, so I lit a book of matches so Abe could find a candle to light. After a while I told Abe thanks for a great day and went back to my hotel and fell asleep. The next morning I went to the beach and reflected on the interesting day I had with Abe.
