Kids today have many opportunities. They are surrounded by technology. We need to remember that we are trying to prepare them for their future, for the workforce, and for a lifetime of citizenship. When it comes to dealing with kids, technology, and digital citizenship, all of the answers are not in books. We can't just punish them for making questionable decisions. Like teaching children to ride bikes, we need to teach them, train them, give them support until they are ready to ride on their own.
