about this story
when life began, it seemed to be an endless rich cornucopia of possibilities and opportunities. maybe she would be a playwright or maybe a dancer or possibly a vet or a farmer's wife. the possibilities seemed rich and infinte, colourful and deliciously mysterious. and all she had to do was follow the path. could it really be that simple? surely there had to be trials and tribulations, challenges and hurdles? and long periods in stony mountains and barren deserts, devoid of signposts and way markers? would she arrive finally in some exotic location, empty handed, weary and surrendered, and when she did, what would she find around an everyday corner on an everyday street on a sunny afternoon in the middel of June? Would she discover in the end that the journey was in the fact the destination and that there would be no spectacular arrriving,but simply and merely a quiet knowing. it's possible.quite possible.
