about this story

4 weeks ago, Isabella was requested to make some breakfast desserts for her friend's baby shower. That was not a lot of time because the shower was in 2 weeks! So a few days after the call Isabella decided to make mini-waffles with caramel, strawberries and bananas. She tried to make them 3 weeks before the baby shower and they were delicious, but they were missing an ingredient and she realized it was the rare yellow flower grown in China. She couldn't fly all the way to China to get the flower, it was on such short notice so she decided to leave them like that.

3 days before the shower, she got another call from her friend saying she also wanted some snacks for lunch because the shower was going to be a few hours. So Isabella made pepperoni pizzas seeing that they were her friends favouritesnack. She tried one slice and also decided in was missing something. This time she decided to that they were missing cactus spikes. But she couldn't get them because these special, edible cactus spikes only grew in Africa which make it even harder to get, so she decided to leave the pizzas like they were.

On the day of the shower Isabella brought all the food the the location of the shower, by the lake. She really enjoyed the whole baby shower. When it was time to eat the food she made, she was really excited to see if the guests would like them or not, but she saw the guests' dogs eating all of the food. She was horrified. There would be none left for the guests. She started to shoo them away.

"Shoo! Get away you beasts, these are for the guest!" she shouted.

"Isabella what's going on?" her friend asked.

"The dogs are eating the food for the guests!" Isabella replied.

"What do you mean? I asked you to make this food for the dog!" her friend said.

"Yeah. I knew that. I was joking," Isabella said, but deep down inside she just realized and remembered that her friend said the food was for the dogs.
