about this story

There was once a peculiar friendship between a cat named Lionel and a rooster named Frank. They lived on a small farm their entire life and knew nothing else and this is how their relationship grew into inseparable friends. One day, Lionel and Frank over heard the farmer talking about the city. To the two animals the city seemed like a grand adventure. So one night Lionel and Frank snuck out of the barn and begun the long walk to the city. They were not exactly sure where they were going but after several long days of walking they reached the city. The first thing they saw when they reached the city was a huge, white, stone building with large pillars. They found it to be beautiful because they had never seen anything like it before. They explored the city and enjoyed all the large buildings and all the excitement the city held. However they found the people quite rude, especially this one man dressed in a suit. This man stood guard at this ginormous building and opened the door with the men and women that entered. Well Lionel and Frank wanted to see what was so great about this building but were quickly chased away by the man in the suit. After that incident Lionel and Frank soon realised the city was no place for them and attempted to find their way home. They got lost along the way and managed to find themselves at a backyard party with a large balloon the children bounced on. The owners of the backyard were excited to see the pair and took them in as family pets. Lionel and Frank lived happily ever after with the family.
