about this story

A man by the name of Jefferson has been separated from his family and home for years longer than he can count. Coming home to find his once young daughter has grown and has a child of her own. She refuses to see him or let him meet his grandson, despite his protests. Holding his last hope, he creates art and sells it to help her to pay off the student loans from the college years he failed to be there for, until finally after much effort and even a close call with death, he can finally see his young grandson.
