This morning i woke up and took a deep breathe, grateful to wake up in a nice suburban house with my husband and two kids. I roll over and check the alarm clock on my nightstand. Its 5:27. I woke up two minutes late. i quickly get dressed and grab a bite to eat while running to my car. Its an old SUV I've never upgraded because it works fine and we don't have money to waste. I pull up to the library and am amazed by its beauty. Pulling myself out of this trance i rush inside for the floor plans of a city block I've been researching for work. As I grab the plans my coworker meets up with me " Hey Alice!" she exclaims. "Hi." i reply flatly. I was stressed we decide to take a picture of the block we were researching and add it to our presentation last minute. we had a few hours left until we had to be there so why not? We set our camera and snap the picture and i fall in love the city all over again. its stunning and gorgeous. we hurriedly upload it to our computer and drive back to the hall we were presenting in. We wait for about 20 minutes then go up on stage and give our speech. We nailed it and got our grant from the city to build a park where an old parking lot was.
