about this story

Today I went to a lake up in the Mountains with my friends. It was busy, there were many people there jet skiing or just on a boat. We rented a boat and we drove it out to the middle of the lake and sat and listened to some music. Then we tied a big tube to the back of the boat and my friend Bob and I were the first to be pulled in it. It was lots of fun but I fell out many times. After that we went and drove our four wheeler's down a trail. Luckily it wasn’t super muddy so I wasn’t a total mess. We had stopped at a nice open spot and decided to take a little hike. During our hike I saw lots of cool things. The first thing I saw was a weird looking caterpillar on a leaf. Then I saw some deer, some pretty flowers, and a waterfall. We were all getting hungry so my friend Sally drove us down the road to a little food truck next to a gas station. I ordered some croissants with honey and butter on them. I also ordered some lemonade, it wasn’t the best, it was a little too sour for me. When we were all finished with out food,we drove back down to our spot at the lake. We spent the rest of the day there. We went swimming and we went out on the boat again and one of my friends tried water skiing. They convinced me to give it a try but I didn’t even last a minute. It was getting dark so we thought it would be cool to see the sunset at the top of the mountain. So, we drove up to the top of the mountain on our four wheeler's and got there just in time. It was so pretty. The sun reflected off the lake and the sky had a mix of orange and blue in it. It was time to head back home, we had lots of fun at the lake.
