圖片中的小貓咪叫做佩琪，是在冬天出生於路邊的小奶貓，在貓媽媽的照顧下，佩琪的生活雖然有點艱辛，常常會餓肚子，但是在媽媽的身邊每天都很安心快樂。
轉眼之間，夏天即將來臨了...
在風雨交加的一個晚上，貓媽媽照例出門尋找食物卻遲遲沒有回家，佩琪在小窩裡等了一天、兩天、三天...
時間一天天的過去，卻遲遲看不見媽媽的身影，佩琪在小窩裡等的又冷又餓，終於忍不住違背媽媽的叮嚀，跑出了小窩，第一次見到外面陌生的世界，佩琪很是興奮，東跑跑西逛逛的很快就迷了路...
不但沒有找到媽媽又把自己弄的又髒又累。
但其實佩琪再也找不到媽媽了，因為貓媽媽在找食物的過程中不小心岀車禍死掉了。
就這樣...佩琪在路邊遊蕩了幾天後，終於忍不住飢餓昏倒在了一排華麗的民宅邊，剛好被一個善心的老奶奶看到了，奶奶決定把佩琪帶回家好好照顧，從此之後佩琪有了新的家人，再也不用擔心挨餓受凍，可以每天吃飽飽懶洋洋的躺在陽台上曬太陽。
