Five Card Story: The Hole at the Beach

about this story
one day after school I was getting off the bus at my stop and I decided that I wanted to go for a run. I lived near a beach so I decided that was where I wanted to go. I ran home, changed into some leggings, some tennis shoes, and a T-shirt. I then headed out to the beach. I ran on a trail that goes through the beach and I decided to go on the sand for a moment. I walked through the sand and was on my way back to my house when the sand beneath me started to shake. soon the ground I was standing on began to crumble creating a large hole in the ground. through which I fell deep into the earth. Iḿ not really sure what happened after that, I cant remember much after that so I assume I hit my head and got knocked out. I woke up sourounded by people on horseback. their horses nudged me wiht their noses. only one woman out of about 15 people had dimounted to make sure I was okay. The rest just stared at me as though they didnt know what I was.
